What's On in October 2026: Brisbane Oktoberfest & OzAsia

Brisbane: Oktoberfest at the Brisbane German Club

• When: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, 2–31 October 2026.

• Where: Brisbane German Club, 416 Vulture Street, Kangaroo Point.

• What: its 52nd year — five weekends of Bavarian food, music and games, including pork knuckle, schnitzel and sausages, plus 40+ imported beers.

• Tickets: around $40–60. Book and check age rules at oktoberfest.brisbanegermanclub.com.

Adelaide: OzAsia Festival (final edition)

• When: 9 October – 1 November 2026.

• Where: Adelaide Festival Centre and Elder Park.

• What: the 20th-anniversary farewell edition, with the entire program free — concerts, visual art, performances and the Weekend of Words.

• Lucky Dumpling Market: a four-week season at Elder Park with 25+ food vendors serving street food from across Asia, plus the famous Moon Lanterns.
