Fast-track Courses for Working Holiday Makers: How It Works
Updated: 2 days ago
If you're in Australia on a Working Holiday visa (subclass 417 or 462), you can study or train — but only for a limited time. That's exactly why we put together our Fast-track courses: Certificate III qualifications for Working Holiday visa holders. Course length varies by provider.
Why 4 months?
Working Holiday visas carry visa condition 8548, which means you must not study or train for more than 4 months in total while on that visa. We explain the rule in detail in Can You Study on a Working Holiday Visa? The 4-Month Rule Explained.
The three Fast-track courses
CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support — care skills for older people and people with disability (read our guide).
HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance — assisting nurses and health professionals in health settings.
CHC30125 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care — working with babies and young children in early learning services.

How it works, step by step
Check your visa. Look up your visa expiry and conditions for free on VEVO (here's how).
Pick the course that suits your interests and the kind of work you'd like to learn about.
Send us an enquiry. We'll share current fees, next intakes and campus options, and check that the timetable can fit within your remaining study time.
Enrol and study. You'll need to attend classes, complete assessments and finish any required work placement on schedule.
Good to know
Weeks, timetables and intakes vary by school.
Finishing on time depends on you keeping up with classes, assessments and placement. Course length is set by each provider.
A qualification doesn't guarantee a job, a visa or PR.
